The Staff and Madrona are grateful for the awesome turnout of Boeing employees and their families for this past Saturday’s restoration program.
The positive attitude and outstanding work ethic of the entire group was such that they made a world of difference in efficiently and effectively removing the invasive European Sedge from the east fork of the wetland area. The work they did will help open up some water habitat that had been closed by the sedge.
Once fully restored, this habitat will be better for the frogs who currently reside there and for the ducks that will be visiting next winter.
We thank Boeing and their employees and hope that you enjoyed yourselves and come work with us again in the future.
