Biologist, entomologist, botanist, photographer and author, Bob Allen specializes in insect and plant relationships including pollination. His book, Wildflowers of Orange County and the Santa Ana Mountains, blends all those themes perfectly. In it you find photos and natural history of the plants of the Coastal Sage Scrub but also photos of the insects specifically associated with some plants.
