WILD - SpecTerra Series at Madrona Marsh
WILD? Public Art Residency Project

December 9 - May 11, 2024

Created by the program's fall artist in residence, LA based environmental artist, Dodd Holsapple, these four totem-styled vertical sculptures are inspired by water, plants, birds and insects present in the Marsh ecosystem.

The project was created during a month long residency at Madrona Marsh Preserve and Nature Center, during which the artist interacted with the preserve and the environmental issues encapsulated at the site, while creating a site-specific body of environmental artwork.

WILD? is an ongoing collaborative public art residency project, between Torrance Art Museum and Madrona Marsh Preserve and Nature Center.
